Our January Comadrazo is also our Birthday Celebration, and will be at Institutional Investor with Comadre Maria Ferrer.  The address is 1120 Avenue of the Americas, 6^th floor at 43^rd Street.  Watch for email and Eventbrite invitation.  And, make sure to attend February’s Comadrazo as Las Comadres Founder Nora de Hoyos Comstock will be joining us.

  Our Book of the Month is PATH TO THE STARS by Sylvia Acevedo.  It’s a powerful and inspiring memoir of a young girl who reached the stars as a rocket scientist.  We also have a Conversations With Book – SNOW FALLING by Jane Gloriana Villanueva. If you follow the TV drama, Jane the Virgin, this is Jane’s book.  We’ll be speaking with Comadre Caridad Piῆeiro regarding the book.

OUTING: Sat, Aug 4 -- Aloha Nights at NY Botanical Garden

Hola, #MyComadres.

Join us on Saturday, August 4, 6:00 PM for Aloha Nights at the NY Botanical Garden.

It promises to be an evening of #ComadresFun, as we visit the Georgia O'Keeffe: Visions of Hawaii exhibition; get interactive hula lessons; watch lei-making demos; enjoy live music and walk around the outdoor exhibition by Hawaiian artist Mark Chai.  AND, there is even a Poke food truck.

Meet us for Dinner and a Movie on Thursday, July 19.

5:30pm -- Dinner at Chevy's, 259 W 42nd Street, corner of 8th Avenue

7:00pm -- Movie at Regal E-Walk Stadium, 247 W 42nd Street
              --This theatre does reserved seating. Get your ticket ASAP.

Our first annual Comadrazo and Game Night was a huge success!

We played bingo all night and everyone went home a winner.  We must admit that some of the Comadres got creative when we ran out of marking chips.  See photos below.

Next outing is a Dinner and a Movie on July 19 (Thursday).  Watch your email for the particulars.
