MOSAIC WORKSHOP WITH ARTIST MANNY VEGA

It’s always a fun day when I get to spend it with #MyComadres!

Thanks to Comadre Nydia Marsella for arranging a private mosaic workshop with artist Manny Vega on Saturday, January 27.  Manny specializes in Murals, Illustration, Printmaking, Beadwork, Theatrical and Costume Design.  Many of you might have seen the beautiful mosaic he created for the old La Casa Azul Bookstore; plus, his other mosaics around Harlem. To learn more about Manny and see his work, visit him at http://artbymannyvega.com.

All Comadres finished their mosaic masterpieces during the workshop. We are happy to share pictures of our “collaboration” with Manny. #ComadresFun!
