Next month, we will be hosted by Comadre Gladys Perez-Mojica at the offices of TDF, so save the date for Tuesday, November 13th, 6pm. On December 3rd, we will be hosted by Comadre Maggie Castor of AARP, and we’ll have a Holiday theme.

OUTING: Sat, Aug 4 -- Aloha Nights at NY Botanical Garden

Hola, #MyComadres.

Join us on Saturday, August 4, 6:00 PM for Aloha Nights at the NY Botanical Garden.

It promises to be an evening of #ComadresFun, as we visit the Georgia O'Keeffe: Visions of Hawaii exhibition; get interactive hula lessons; watch lei-making demos; enjoy live music and walk around the outdoor exhibition by Hawaiian artist Mark Chai.  AND, there is even a Poke food truck.

7:00pm -- Movie at Regal E-Walk Stadium, 247 W 42nd Street

Our first annual Comadrazo and Game Night was a huge success!

We played bingo all night and everyone went home a winner.  We must admit that some of the Comadres got creative when we ran out of marking chips.  See photos below.

Next outing is a Dinner and a Movie on July 19 (Thursday).  Watch your email for the particulars.

JUNE 7 COMADRAZO

Greetings, #MyComadres!

This month we gather to network and celebrate the beginning of Summer!   

 We are also donating toiletries and female undergarments to The Women’s Project, which helps homeless women in our city.  Comadre Miriam Gonzalez will join us and take our contributions to the shelter.  For more information on the Project, visit www.gsecdc.org.

 JUNE OUTINGS.  Let’s start with the June 12 (Tues) Museum Mile Festival from 6-9pm. Let’s meet at 6:00pm across the street from the Guggenheim Museum at 1071 Fifth Avenue (88^th Street).  Look for Comadre Maria Ferrer.  For more ideas on outings and links to interesting events, see back of this page.
